PRIVACY POLICY FOR CRYO SLEEP STUDIOS APPLICATIONS

EFFECTIVE DATE: MARCH 25, 2026

Cryo Sleep Studios ("we", "us", or "our") built the CryoNOC, CryoCMDB, CryoMoney, CryoProject, CryoReader, and CryoWiki desktop applications to be secure, locally-hosted utilities. We believe your network infrastructure, hardware inventory, financial data, projects, reading habits, and internal documentation are your business, not ours.

This Privacy Policy is extremely simple because we do not collect, store, track, or transmit any of your personal data.

1. LOCAL DATA STORAGE

All configurations and data entered into our applications are stored strictly locally on your machine's hard drive. This includes:

  • Target URLs, domain names, and SSL configurations for network monitoring.

  • Asset inventories, hardware details, network dependency maps, and software license keys.

  • Slack and Discord Webhook URLs for automated alerts.

  • Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) API keys and target email addresses.

  • Financial data, transaction history, and Open Banking API Personal Access Tokens.

  • Kanban tasks, project notes, and deadlines.

  • Custom RSS feed URLs and preferences.

  • Wiki pages, rich text content, and embedded local media.

  • Application event logs, uptime history, and optional PIN locks.

We do not maintain any servers to sync, back up, or view your configurations. If you delete the apps and their local application data, your configurations are permanently removed from your machine.

2. NETWORK ACTIVITY & THIRD-PARTY APIS

Our applications require an active internet connection for certain features to function, but they communicate directly from your machine to the services you configure. Your traffic is never routed through or monitored by Cryo Sleep Studios.

  • Uptime Monitoring & SSL (CryoNOC): Makes standard HTTP/HTTPS GET requests directly to your specified URLs and checks certificate expiry via the public networkcalc.com API.

  • Breach Monitoring (CryoNOC): Communicates directly with the haveibeenpwned.com API to check for compromised credentials.

  • Financial Syncing (CryoMoney): Connects directly to Open Banking APIs (like Starling, Monzo, and GoCardless) using your Personal Access Tokens, and fetches live cryptocurrency prices directly from the CoinGecko API.

  • Webhook Alerts (CryoNOC, CryoProject, CryoWiki): Uptime alerts, project summaries, and wiki page updates are pushed directly to the Slack or Discord URLs you provide.

  • News Aggregation (CryoReader): Fetches RSS and Atom feeds directly from your configured source URLs.

Your use of these external integrations is governed by the respective privacy policies of Slack, Discord, NetworkCalc, Have I Been Pwned, CoinGecko, your banking providers, and the RSS feed publishers. (Note: CryoCMDB operates entirely offline and makes no external network requests).

3. ANALYTICS AND TRACKING

Our applications contain absolutely no third-party analytics, crash reporting software, or user tracking code. We cannot see how often you use the apps, what sites you monitor, your infrastructure map, your financial status, your tasks, what you read, or when your servers go down.

4. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we add new features in the future that change how data is handled (for example, introducing an optional cloud-sync feature), we will update this policy and notify users within the apps or on our website.
